Fifth week contestants (18 - 24 May 2009).
We woke up very early today (5,45am) in order to visit an island, Marlon Brando's Island, (Brando bought the 150-acre atoll Tetiaroa in 1965 after filming Mutiny on the Bounty nearby) but the trip was canceled due the uncertain weather conditions. When we woke up was raining like hell, by the time we asked ourselves if we should cancel or not the rain stopped, the sun was shining, the phone start ringing and our friends confirmed their motivation to persuade with our intention of going on this trip, considering they were no longer in a mood for sleep... And so we left.
Of course the trip was canceled as the clouds came back...
But anyway, I won't talk about the frustration that a canceled trip after a very short night sleep can do to one, but about the magnificent presents that the sunsets on this planet are.
They must be a present from God Himself as yesterday, after a gray-cloudy day, these were the colors that we could see (and with a little imagination you could think the island just exploded):
